Acting it Out
The series seeks to remind and challenge us about who we are as church and what our purpose is. In some senses then we continue the thinking of ‘Who is this Man?’, the identity and mission of the church is a continuing expression of the identity and mission of Christ.
Evening Series
Wise Guys
This series takes in a broad survey of Wisdom literature in the Old Testament. We will undertake this seeking both to read the literature in its original setting and with the perspective of those who believe in Jesus, as risen Saviour and LORD.
Seeing God afresh
Morning Series
Each Sunday will offer insights through biblical encounters in which people see God afresh and, as a result see their faith-world expanded.
Exile and Homecoming
Morning Series
One of the great themes of the biblical narrative is ‘Exile and Homecoming’. This series will explore it in its original context and also as it is applied as an idea to our salvation and our life as ‘Church’ today.
The Resurrection Chapter
Morning Series
Following the celebration of Easter, we will explore the meaning of the resurrection more fully through 1 Corinthians 15, Paul’s ‘Resurrection Chapter’. It is a chapter that speaks about our commission to be witnesses and then unpacks that witness into the meaning of the resurrection.
Disciple
Evening Series
Jesus’ words of call were simple, ‘Follow me!’ In the evenings we will look at nine discipleship practices suggested by John Mark Comer’s book, ‘Practicing the Way’. There will be shorter talks during this series to allow time for discussion.
