Sharing the Story, Living the Life
Reviewing our priorities.
At Belmont Central on 25th June we dug into what we mean when we say we’re sharing the story and living the life. We gather views on a survey. You can take part by clicking the link below. You may find it helpful to see the slide and text that was presented at Belmont Central

As we SHARE the STORY of JESUS…
We want people to get to know Christians, e.g. through toddlers groups, Tuesday at Belmont, Wellbeing Café, Youth Clubs We call this CONTACT – when strangers become friends
We want those friendships to lead to curiosity about Christian faith because Christians are people who tell a story of how Jesus Christ has worked in their own lives. E.g. Alpha, Bible Course, or simply 1-2-1 exploration This is CONSIDERATION– when friends enquire more about Christ.
We invite enquirers to become believers as we give opportunity for people to make a COMMITMENT to Christ, to trust in Him; in our Sunday services, especially baptisms we invite people to make a response.
and we encourage believers to join in with the family of God here at Belmont on mission for the Lord Jesus, as we join in the COMMUNITY for example via Home Groups]
and we LIVE the LIFE of Jesus as together…
we commit to KNOWING more of God through His word, the Bible.
we commit to GROWING closer and more like Jesus as we apply that truth to our lives, we do this through Sunday teaching and worship, home group study, one to one bible reading and prayer times.
we care for one another, carrying each other’s burdens, home groups, care team, are essential for this CARING
we go out to the city, community and world as SHARE what God has given us in time, gifts and money to serve others.
